Halloween Came and Went

The one time of the year when people of all age dresses up in whatever they want and become whoever they want is Halloween. They transform into their favorite superheroes, iconic horror icons, celebrities, fairytale beauty queens, princess, prince or king donning fancy dress clothing and elaborate make up. This year the Settlers Park/Grove HOA organized Trunk or Treat with a twist and invited the residents of the community to come out and enjoy an evening of fun, games, popcorn, cotton candy and Halloween theme music.

Halloween these days is much more than an evening of walking around the neighborhood and knocking on your neighbor’s door with the hope of collecting candy. However, for the Settlers Park/Grove HOA Halloween is more than decorating our porches, building graveyards filled with skeletons and spiderwebs filled with spiders. It is about the entire community coming together, connecting and strengthening their relationships. Above all, Halloween is and will always be about creating memories that become stories that will be shared with each person’s children and grandchildren. That was clearly what happened. The pictures shared here does tell a spooky tale. We hope this year brought you all of your favorite treats, lots of warm smiles with your families and friends but not short of fun new memories to share.
