Here’s why your water may temporarily taste and smell different in April
In an effort to maintain and improve the highest quality standards in our water systems, the City will begin a Free Chlorine Conversion of the City's main water system on April 5. This process is a safe, standard practice recommended by the EPA and TCEQ on a regular basis, and it will temporarily change the taste and smell and of your water.
