The Summer season is behind us, and we are getting ready to welcome the Fall season. A big thank you and congratulations to the Settlers Park/Grove 2023, Yard of the Month winners, Barbara Lashari - in May, Peggy and Mike Kelly - in June, Danny and Michelle Hart - in July, Anne Daniel - in August, and Ronnie and Linda Bryant - September. All the winners received a $100 gift card from either Home Depot or Lowes and the HOA YOtM sign was displayed in their yard. Each winner was different but had many similarities such as the love of gardening, love of flowers, butterflies, and birds, and for maintaining beautifully manicured yards. To all of you, job well done, thank you!
In December the HOA will be featuring a special edition of the YotM. For this edition, residents' houses will be judged on three categories: Religious/Traditional (example: Nativity display/Santa’s workshop display), Whimsical with themes (example: The best gingerbread house display/12 days of Christmas display/Candy cane land), and Best use of Lights with a theme (example: Santa sleigh and reindeer/simply make the holidays magical with lights). Judging will begin the week of 11-15 December 2023. We look forward to seeing some beautifully decorated homes for the holiday. In addition, examples of the winners from December 2021 are attached.
