Sugar Land City Council has scheduled a $90 million general obligation bond election to address several projects based on resident input. These projects address concerns such as drainage, public safety, streets, and animal welfare (shelter).
Currently there is sufficient debt capacity to fund 50% of the proposed projects with no tax increase. Should all propositions be approved it will mean an increase of approximately $10 per month for the average household (with an average home value estimated at approximately $375k).
Please exercise your right to vote during early voting with locations around the city or on Nov. 5th.
